Where Does OpenVibe Store Accounts and Cache?

OpenVibe accounts span several networks with feeds and drafts cached in app storage.

Last updated

OpenVibe connects to several social networks at once, and every account keeps its data on its own service. The phone holds a unified cache of feeds, drafts, and downloaded media in app-private storage.

The cache is disposable across all networks. Reconnecting each account restores follows and history from the servers, minus anything never posted. Treat the app as a window and each network as the archive.

Where OpenVibe stores this, by platform

Android
Network accounts (data); app-private cache and drafts

Accounts sync from each connected network. The phone holds unified cache and drafts; reconnect after reinstalling to restore everything.

iOS
Network accounts (data); app-private cache and drafts

Same multi-network design. Save keeper media to Photos deliberately; cached copies evaporate with the app.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose anything if I reinstall?

Follows and posts live on each connected network and return on login. Only unsent drafts and cache stay behind, so finish posting before wiping.
