Where Are Pacify Save Files Located?

Where Pacify keeps save slots and graphics settings on PC, and how the config folder differs from saves.

Last updated

Pacify follows the standard Unreal layout on Windows. Save slots live under Saved SaveGames as plain files. Graphics settings live in the sibling Config tree as ini files, with one video settings file crossing over into SaveGames.

There is no verified native Mac save path in public docs despite the store listing, so this post covers Windows plus the Proton mirror. Steam Cloud syncs the tree under AppID 967050. Copy the parent Pacify folder whole for backup rather than cherry picking files. Copy the parent Pacify folder rather than single files so saves and config travel as one unit.

Where Pacify stores this, by platform

Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Pacify\Saved\SaveGames

Holds .sav save slots plus a videosettings file. Config lives beside it in Saved Config WindowsNoEditor. Cloud sync runs under AppID 967050.

Frequently asked questions

Should I back up the Config folder or the SaveGames folder?

Saves sit in the SaveGames folder while graphics options live in Config WindowsNoEditor beside it. Back up both trees together with the game closed for a full copy. The videosettings file inside SaveGames bridges the two, so keep it with the slots.

How do I move Pacify saves to Steam Deck?

Copy the compatdata prefix for AppID 967050 plus the userdata mirror for the same ID. The Windows LocalAppData tree reappears inside the prefix under the steamuser profile. Launch once with Cloud paused so the restored files win.
