Where Are Pentiment Save Files Located?
Pentiment saves and registry config on PC, and the Xbox container that hides Game Pass saves.
Last updated
Pentiment saves on PC in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Pentiment, with a cloud sync copy under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pentiment\CloudSync. Graphics and options live in the registry at HKCU\Software\Obsidian Entertainment\Pentiment.
No numeric ID appears in any path, which keeps things simple. The exception is Game Pass: those saves sit in a Microsoft.OE-Missouri Packages container managed by Xbox, out of user reach. Proton runs the Windows build on Deck; there is no native Linux or Mac Steam depot.
