Where Does Qobuz Store Downloads and Offline Music?
Qobuz keeps offline albums in encrypted app storage, with purchased files wherever your Downloader folder points.
Last updated
Qobuz has two different download paths. Streaming offline saves stay inside the app in encrypted cache. You play them from the Downloads section. You cannot move those files to another player.
Store purchases are different. The Qobuz Downloader app fetches real FLAC or WAV files to a folder you pick, usually Music/Qobuz. Those files behave like any local music. Back them up like the rest of your library.
Where Qobuz stores this, by platform
Music\Qobuz (Downloader purchases)
Change the folder from the small folder icon in the Downloader. Streaming offline cache stays in app data and is not portable. Purchases are the files to back up.
~/Music/Qobuz (Downloader purchases)
Same split as Windows. Downloader folder holds real audio files. In-app offline items from the main Qobuz app remain encrypted in its container.
Private app storage (streaming offline)
Offline albums play only inside Qobuz. Reinstalls keep them if you stay logged in, but logging out can clear them. Purchased files you copied to Music stay independent.
