Where Does RAID: Shadow Legends Save Your Data?

Champions, gear and shards live on Plarium's servers, tied to a Plarium ID or social login. The device keeps only cache and settings.

Last updated

RAID: Shadow Legends is a server game wearing a local app. Your champion roster, gear, silver, shards and arena rank all live on Plarium servers, reachable through the account you linked: a Plarium ID, Facebook, Google or Apple. The files on the phone amount to a cache of champion art and battle data, the current patch, and a token that signs you into that account. Delete everything tomorrow and the roster is still waiting.

The trap for new players is playing weeks on a guest session and then swapping devices. A guest profile exists only as long as the install does, and linking hides in settings where nobody looks. Do it now rather than later. RAID also cross-plays with the Plarium Play desktop client, so the same login covers your phone, tablet and PC without any file copying in between.

Where RAID: Shadow Legends stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.plarium.raidlegends

Champion art, battle assets, the current patch and sign-in state. Hidden from file managers on Android 11 and later. Clearing it logs you out without risking anything stored on Plarium servers.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

Per-install container whose GUID changes with every reinstall. Not reachable without a jailbreak. The linked login, not the folder, is what restores your champions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move RAID: Shadow Legends to a new phone or PC?

Link a Plarium ID, Facebook, Google or Apple account in settings, then sign in with the same one on the new device, including Plarium Play on Windows. Rosters return from the servers, and the account works across phone, tablet and PC interchangeably.

My RAID account reset to the beginner tutorial. What happened?

The game almost certainly signed you into a fresh login rather than your old one. Check which linked account the game shows in settings. Sign out and back in with the correct login and the real roster returns, since progress lives on the servers.

Can I clear RAID's app data to free up space?

Yes, with a linked login in place. The folder is downloaded art and battle data that gets fetched again automatically, usually several gigabytes. The next launch takes longer while it rebuilds, so use Wi-Fi for the first session afterward.
