Where Does Rocket League Save Replays?
The Demos folder where Rocket League writes .replay files on Windows and Linux, plus why that folder stays empty until you save a match.

Rocket League does not record matches on its own. A replay file only appears once you save the match, either from the post-game screen, by holding the Save Replay binding during play, or from Profile > Match History, which keeps the last 20 matches for 30 days.
Saved replays are data files with a .replay extension, about 1.25 MB each, not video. They land in the Demos folder below, and that folder may not exist until your first save. Watching one happens inside the game, so turning it into a video means recording the screen.

Paste this into the Run dialog (Win+R). Epic's own support pages give the same path, so Steam and Epic installs match. If Demos is missing you have not saved a replay yet, and deleting files while the game is closed can trigger a cloud re-download.

252950 is Rocket League's Steam App ID. Some prefixes name that folder My Documents rather than Documents, and the prefix lives in whichever Steam library holds the game, so search your home folder for TAGame if this one is empty. The retired native Linux build used ~/.local/share/Rocket League/TAGame/Demos.

Because replays are never recorded automatically. Nothing is written until you save: use Save Replay on the post-match screen, hold the Save Replay binding during a match, or save from Profile > Match History. Only matches you save create files.
is rocket league on mac
Not any more. Psyonix ended macOS and Linux native support in March 2020, and the old Mac build has been offline-only since. There is no current Mac version of the game, so there is no Mac replay folder to go looking for.

Inside the Proton prefix: .../steamapps/compatdata/252950/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Rocket League/TAGame/Demos. Linux and Steam Deck are officially supported again since the Easy Anti-Cheat update, so no extra compatibility tools are needed.
