Spiegel keeps edition downloads and audio cache in private app storage on each phone. Android holds it under its main package folder. iOS uses a per install container with a GUID name. Downloaded editions dominate disk use for offline readers.
Manager Magazin is a sibling with its own storage. Copying one profile into the other breaks both. Subscriptions restore through the Spiegel ID after login. Deleting storage while the app runs stops playback and drops downloads. Check the edition list inside the app before wiping, then fetch again.
