Where Does Structured Store Timelines on Mobile?

Where Structured keeps timelines, tasks and settings on Android and iPhone for full migration.

Last updated

Structured splits phone state two ways: timelines and tasks synced through its account, plus device lists and attachments local to each phone. The split decides what moves by itself.

Sign in restores cloud timelines; local lists need export first. Attachments copy by hand from shared storage. Reinstalls without a backup wipe local lists for good, so check the account state before wiping anything.

Where Structured stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/com.structuredapp/files

Timelines sync through the account with device lists local. Package name can vary by build, so prefer in-app export over file browsing. Verify lists after signing in.

iOS
On My iPhone/Structured

Same account sync pattern on iPhone with local lists in the app container. Attachments move through Files by hand. Confirm per list side in settings.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move Structured to a new phone?

Sign in with the same Structured account and let timelines sync, then verify every list on the new phone. Local only lists need the in-app export first. Media attachments need their own copies.

Are my Structured lists in the cloud or local?

Open Structured settings and read the account and sync entries. Signed in timelines follow the account while device lists stay local. The entries always show the live state.
