Where Does SuperSlicer Keep Profiles and Settings?
SuperSlicer stores print profiles as plain .ini files in a config folder. Paths on Windows, macOS and Linux, plus portable mode.

SuperSlicer keeps every profile as a plain-text .ini file in its config folder. That makes profiles easy to version with git or sync between machines. The quickest way to the folder is Help > Show config folder from inside the app, which always resolves correctly.
Two overrides beat the default. A directory named configuration next to the executable wins on any OS, which is how portable installs stay self-contained. The --datadir launch flag beats everything and can point at a network share. Just starting the app rewrites some .ini files, so expect git noise if you version the folder.
Where SuperSlicer stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\SuperSlicer
Default unless a configuration folder sits next to superslicer.exe or --datadir is set. Vendor bundles and your edited profiles both live here as .ini files.
~/Library/Application Support/SuperSlicer
Same contents as Windows. Symlinking this folder to a network drive crashes the app, so use --datadir with a local path for shared setups instead.
~/.config/SuperSlicer
Follows XDG_CONFIG_HOME when set. Launch with --datadir /path/to/configdir to relocate, the same flag works on all three platforms.
Frequently asked questions
How do I sync SuperSlicer profiles between computers?
Point each install at one shared folder with the --datadir launch flag, or version %APPDATA%\SuperSlicer in git and pull on each machine. Don't edit profiles on two machines at once, since the app rewrites .ini files on startup.
How do I run SuperSlicer in portable mode?
Create a folder named configuration next to superslicer.exe and launch normally. The app uses it instead of the OS config path. Keep that folder with the install to carry profiles on a USB stick.
