Swayr reads one TOML file under XDG config. The daemon starts from the sway config itself. A missing file regenerates with defaults on launch.
System fallback sits under etc xdg. That covers managed machines where home files stay thin. Companion bar config lives beside it under its own name.

How do I back up Swayr?
