The Hex keeps progress in a single hexsave file in its Unity company folder on Windows. An install folder copy exists beside the game, but the LocalLow copy is the one the game actually loads. Settings live separately in the registry.
No verified Mac or Linux literal paths appear in public docs despite those releases existing. Copy the user folder file with the game closed for backup. The registry branch travels separately for options.Achievement flags share the hexsave, so one file covers every playthrough.
