Where Does TimeTree Store Calendars?
TimeTree calendars live in shared cloud calendars with offline copies cached in app storage.
Last updated
TimeTree calendars live in the cloud, shared between every member of each calendar. The phone keeps an offline copy and queued edits in app-private storage for subway-grade connectivity.
That cache is a convenience, not the archive. Anything synced already exists on the account and returns on login. The only losses come from edits made offline and never synced, so let the app finish syncing before reinstalling or switching phones.
Where TimeTree stores this, by platform
Account cloud (calendars); app-private offline cache
Shared calendars sync from the account. The phone holds offline cache and queued edits. Sync fully before reinstalling; cache loss is harmless otherwise.
Account cloud (calendars); app-private offline cache
Same cloud-first design. Memos and photos attached to events live with the event, not on the phone, so reinstalls restore everything synced.
Frequently asked questions
Do I lose shared calendars if I reinstall?
Calendars, events, and memos return on login. Only unsynced offline edits and cache stay behind, so open the app on Wi-Fi before wiping.
