Tormented Souls 2 switched engines from the first game, moving from Unity to Unreal, so none of the old paths apply. Current saves live in a TormentedSouls2 folder in Local AppData under Saved/SaveGames.
A late 2025 patch relocated saves into the Steam install folder, which looked exactly like a wipe to affected players. Nothing was deleted. Copying the Saved folder from AppData into the TormentedSouls2 directory inside the install restores everything, and that migration path still works if an old backup surfaces.
