Where Does Trimui Smart Pro Store ROMs and Saves?

Trimui Smart Pro keeps ROMs in /Roms per system on the SD card, with BIOS under RetroArch system files.

Last updated

Trimui Smart Pro runs from a FAT32 microSD card. The base package creates Roms, RetroArch, Emus and Imgs folders at the card root. ROMs sort into per-system subfolders inside Roms. BIOS files go under RetroArch system paths.

Start from a branded card. The bundled card fails. Format large cards as FAT32 with Rufus, copy the base package plus firmware file to the root, then flash with Volume Minus plus Power. Add ROMs only after the first boot.

Where Trimui Smart Pro stores this, by platform

Linux
/Roms/<system>, /RetroArch/.retroarch/system (SD card root)

Per-system ROM folders inside Roms, BIOS under RetroArch system dirs, art in Imgs. Refresh the ROM list from the Game tab after copying. Keep FAT32 format.

Frequently asked questions

How do I back up a Trimui Smart Pro SD card?

Remove the SD card, plug it into your PC, and copy the Roms, RetroArch and Imgs folders. That covers games, BIOS, settings and scraped art. Do it before firmware flashes.

New ROMs do not appear. What fixes it?

Open the Game tab, press Menu, and choose Refresh Roms. The list does not rescan on its own. New files stay invisible until you refresh.
