Where Are Venmo Statements and Tax Forms Stored?

Venmo monthly statements download as CSV from Settings > Statements in the app or on venmo.com. Files land in Downloads.

Last updated

Venmo keeps your money trail in your account, not in a folder. Monthly statements cover every payment sent and received plus fees, and you pull them per month as CSV. The app path is Settings, then Statements, with a year and month picker. Delivery is either a direct download or an email to yourself.

The website mirrors this at venmo.com under Statements. Prefer the site when grabbing a full year, since twelve separate monthly files are easier to wrangle on a desktop. Tax forms live apart in the Tax Document Center, and Venmo only keeps about three years of statements online.

Where Venmo stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Download/

Downloaded CSV files arrive here. Request full history under Settings > Privacy > Request My Data if you need older years; that arrives as a ZIP by email, typically within a day.

iOS
Files app > Downloads

Save CSV or PDF exports to Files with the share sheet. Statements and tax forms both start in Settings. The app container holds nothing you need to copy by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Venmo statement?

In the app, go to Settings and tap Statements, pick the year and month, then download to your device or email it to yourself. Large files skip the download and go to email automatically. On venmo.com the same section offers CSV and PDF side by side.

Where are my Venmo tax documents?

Open the Me tab, tap the settings gear, and open Tax Documents. The same center exists on venmo.com under Settings. Forms appear in January and February only if you qualify, so an empty page usually means no form was issued.
