Where Does Viwoods Store Notes and Files?

Viwoods AiPaper notes on device storage, USB transfer and companion sync.

Last updated

Viwoods AiPaper tablets run Android under the e-ink layer, so notes, PDFs and books live in device storage like any Android tablet. The built in notebook app saves strokes locally first. Cloud and companion sync copy them elsewhere afterward.

There is no fixed PC path by design. Over USB the tablet appears as MTP media: browse it from the computer and copy notes, exports and PDFs out by hand. The companion app and cloud backup are conveniences over that same storage, not separate libraries. Back up before firmware updates; wipes take the local notebooks with them.

Where Viwoods stores this, by platform

Android
Device storage (notebooks in the built-in app, reachable over USB MTP)

Copy PDFs, exports and notebook backups via USB file transfer. Sync services mirror the same files. Exact subfolders vary by firmware, so browse MTP root rather than memorizing a path.

Frequently asked questions

how do I get Viwoods notes onto my computer

Export notebooks to PDF inside the app, then connect over USB and copy from MTP storage, or use the companion sync. Export first: raw stroke files may not open anywhere except the tablet.

are Viwoods notes only in the cloud

No. The device copy is the original and the cloud holds the mirror. A reset without a backup or export loses local notebooks. Sync before updating firmware or selling the device.
