Where Does Voloco Save Recordings?
Voloco keeps recordings in its in-app library and only writes files to shared storage when you share a mix.
Last updated
Voloco recordings live in the app's library until you share them. Takes, drafts, and finished mixes all sit there together, which makes the library feel complete right up until a reinstall wipes it.
Nothing reaches your gallery or music folder on its own. Tapping share on a finished mix writes the audio file out to shared storage, and that exported file is the only copy an uninstall cannot touch. Export first, clean up second.
Where Voloco stores this, by platform
In-app library; share mixes out to storage
Takes and mixes stay in app-private storage. Share a finished mix to write the audio file to shared storage, then back that file up. Clearing app data deletes unshared recordings.
In-app library; share mixes out to Files
Same split as Android: library inside the app, audio files only after sharing. Save shared mixes to Files or iCloud before offloading or deleting the app.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a Voloco recording onto my computer?
Finish the mix first, then share it out to storage or another app. The in-app library is the workspace; the shared file is the archive.
Do I need a subscription to save my songs?
Yes. Free mixes stay in the app, and Starter subscription tracks add studio-quality downloads. Either way, only a shared-out file survives an uninstall.
