Where Does Streamlabs Mobile Store Scenes and Recordings?

Streamlabs Mobile keeps scenes and widgets in your Streamlabs account. Local recordings save to the camera roll and gallery folders.

Last updated

Streamlabs Mobile differs from its desktop sibling by living mostly in the cloud. Scenes, sources, alert boxes, and chat widgets attach to your Streamlabs ID and follow you across phones. Going live is then a matter of picking a scene and a destination like Twitch or YouTube.

Video files are the exception. Anything recorded locally lands in the system gallery: DCIM on Android, Photos on iOS. Multistreaming, extra themes, and disconnect protection sit behind the Ultra subscription, but the file layout stays the same on free and paid plans.

Where Streamlabs Mobile stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Streamlabs

Gallery folders hold local recordings; scenes sync via account. Exact cache folder names may vary by version. Manage layouts in Menu > Editor rather than the filesystem.

iOS
Photos app > Recents (Streamlabs recordings)

Recordings save to Photos. Scenes and widgets restore on login. The app sandbox holds nothing worth copying by hand.

Frequently asked questions

How do I stream my phone screen?

On Android, add a Screen Share layer under Streaming Settings > Scenes > Layers. On iOS, tap Go Live and choose screen share when asked. Android can mix camera and screen at once; iOS makes you pick per stream.

Do my scenes transfer to a new phone?

Scenes, alerts, and widgets sync through the account, so logging in restores them. Finished local recordings stay on the old phone gallery. Move those video files manually before wiping, since sync covers layouts rather than footage.
