Windows built-in clipboard history (Windows plus V) keeps recent copies in a local database with optional cloud sync. This is the OS feature, not the third party managers covered elsewhere.

Pinned entries survive while the rolling tail expires. Clearing from the panel wipes the store. Cloud sync extends entries to signed in PCs when enabled.
