Where Does Windows 11 Media Player Store Its Library?
The new Windows 11 Media Player keeps its library database, playlists, and history in its ZuneMusic Store package folder.

Windows 11 Media Player descends from Groove Music and keeps the old ZuneMusic package name. Its LocalState folder holds MediaPlayer.db with the library index, a Playlists subfolder, and wal files tracking recent media.
Music files themselves stay wherever you keep them; the database only indexes library folders chosen in settings (Ctrl+G). Resetting the app from Windows Settings wipes this folder, which fixes most corruption in one shot.
