Where Are Wizard with a Gun Save Files Located?
The Wizard with a Gun save files on PC, with per-account slots under GalvanicGames in LocalLow.
Last updated
Gunmancers save in LocalLow under the spaceless GalvanicGames studio folder, inside a lowercase wizardwithagun directory with account and slot levels below. The slot numbering runs two ahead, so slot one lives in folder three.
The developers explained the offset themselves when players lost track of characters. Copy the account folder whole and the arithmetic stops mattering.
Where Wizard with a Gun stores this, by platform
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\GalvanicGames\wizardwithagun\[SteamID]\[Slot]
Unity LocalLow location with no spaces anywhere. [SteamID] is your numeric account folder. [Slot] runs two ahead of the in-game slot number. Steam Cloud syncs the tree.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my first character in folder 3?
Slot folders count two ahead of the in-game slots by design. Copy the whole account folder instead of guessing numbers.
How do I back up Wizard with a Gun?
Copy the folder named after your Steam ID out of wizardwithagun. Every gunmancer and tower travels inside it.
