Where Are Zelle Transfers and History Stored?

Zelle shut its standalone app in April 2025. Transfers and history now live inside your own bank app or online banking.

Last updated

There is no Zelle folder to find anymore. Early Warning Services shut the standalone Zelle app in April 2025 because barely two percent of transfers went through it. Everyone else already used Zelle inside a bank app, and that is now the only way to send money on the network.

Your history moved with it. Past transfers sit in your bank account activity like any other payment. The old app kept transaction history visible only until March 2025, so anything older than that now comes from your bank statements. Anyone still on the standalone app has to re-enroll at a participating institution.

Where Zelle stores this, by platform

Android
Your bank app > Activity or Transfers

Look for Zelle under transfers or payments. The retired standalone package com.zellepay.zelle no longer sends money. Old in-app history ended in March 2025, so your bank statements are the durable record now.

iOS
Your bank app > Activity or Transfers

Same story as Android. The standalone app is retired and educational only. Re-enroll at your bank, then find transfers in the bank activity feed rather than in any Zelle folder.

Frequently asked questions

The Zelle app stopped working. What now?

Re-enroll through a participating bank or credit union app. Over 2,200 institutions offer Zelle directly. The old app stopped enrolling and sending money in March 2025 and now only shows scam education content.

Where do I find my Zelle history?

Open your bank app and look under transfers, payments, or activity for a Zelle section. Each bank lays it out differently, so search the app for Zelle if the tab is not obvious. Statements from your bank include the transfers like any other transaction.
