Where Does Zwift Store Activities and Workouts?

Zwift keeps dated FIT activities with logs and workouts in Documents Zwift on Mac and older PC, moving to AppData Local on new PC installs.

Last updated

Zwift moved house on Windows and left no forwarding address. Installs from early 2026 onward write activities, logs and workouts under AppData Local, while older PCs and all Macs use Documents. Upgraded machines keep both trees with old files unmoved.

Activities are dated FIT files with a website download twin. Custom workouts nest per user ID as zwo files. Logs stay device-local everywhere, with Apple TV offering no files at all. Check the install era before quoting a path.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my Zwift activity files?

Check Documents Zwift Activities on Mac and older Windows, or AppData Local Zwift Activities on Windows installs from early 2026 on. Old files never migrated automatically, so upgraded PCs hold both trees. Custom workouts add a user-ID folder under Workouts with zwo files.

Where are Zwift log files?

Open the tray icon and choose Open Logs Folder on PC, or browse Documents Zwift Logs on Mac. Logs stay on the originating device only, unlike activities which also upload to the feed. Mobile exposes logs through email and file sharing instead.

How do I get activities off Apple TV?

Through the website feed only. Apple TV keeps no reachable files, so open the feed, filter to just yourself, and download the FIT from the activity cog. Support handles anything the feed cannot reach.
