Where Does AFK Journey Store Account and Game Data?

AFK Journey keeps heroes, progress and pulls on Farlight's servers. The device holds downloaded resources and the binding that unlocks them.

Last updated

AFK Journey is fully online, and its storage follows that. Heroes, gear, resonance levels, and every gacha pull are recorded on Farlight's servers against the account you bound: Farlight, Google, Apple, or a guest ID created at first launch. The folder on the phone is a resource cache full of character models, voice lines, event art, and the token that keeps you signed in.

The package name trips people up. The game is developed by Lilith but published through Farlight, so Android files it under com.farlightgames.igame.gp. For transfers, one thing matters: bind early. Guest progress on a lost phone cannot be rebuilt, and support has to turn those cases away.

Where AFK Journey stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.farlightgames.igame.gp

Downloaded hero assets, voice, event resources, and sign-in state, filed under Farlight's package name. Android 11 and newer block file managers from opening it. Clearing it signs you out but leaves server progress intact.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

Per-install container with a fresh GUID on every reinstall, jailbreak needed to browse it. iCloud device backups copy it, yet the bound account is what restores the roster.

Frequently asked questions

How do I bind my AFK Journey account?

Open Settings in the game and link Farlight, Google, Apple, or Facebook. Do it in the first session. Once bound, the roster, progress, and purchases restore on any device through that login.

Why can I not find AFK Journey under Lilith on my phone?

The Android package belongs to Farlight, the publisher, so it appears as com.farlightgames.igame.gp rather than anything Lilith-branded. The game inside is the same one, developed by Lilith and published through Farlight.

Does clearing AFK Journey's data affect my pulls?

No. Pull results and pity counters live on the server against your account. Clearing local data logs you out and deletes cached resources, and both come back after signing in and re-downloading.
