Anno 117: Pax Romana stores saves in Documents rather than in its install folder or the Ubisoft Connect launcher directory. Every PC storefront uses the same location, which is unusual for a Ubisoft title and convenient when moving between Steam, Epic and Ubisoft Connect.
Inside the accounts folder sits one subfolder per profile, and that is the unit to back up. The game also autosaves every five minutes by default, adjustable under Options and then Game. Manual saves, autosaves and the single cross progression cloud slot all funnel through the in game Load Game menu.
