Baldur's Gate 3 keeps saves in a hidden AppData folder on Windows, nested at PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story. Larian moved the game out of Documents at patch 9, so anything older than that may still be sitting in Documents\Larian Studios where the game copies it across on first launch.
The rest of your setup lives alongside the saves: the Mods folder, modsettings.lsx and the profile files are all in the same Baldur's Gate 3 directory. There is no export button for saves on PC, so moving a campaign means copying that Story folder or turning on cross-save.

Paste that into the Explorer address bar to skip the hidden folders. Steam and GOG installs share it because the path belongs to the game rather than the store. A native Mac version exists and Larian's support pages give this path for it. Unlike Windows, the Mac build keeps the profile in Documents, so a normal Documents backup covers your saves. Mods sit in the Mods folder at the same level as PlayerProfiles.

This is the native Linux build, which Larian only supports on Steam Deck.
