BATTLETECH saves in two mirrors: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Harebrained Schemes\BattleTech\C#\SGS# locally, and Steam userdata 637090\remote\C#\SGS# in the cloud. Paradox support documents both trees with exact folder names.
The C#\SGS# nesting confuses every first backup attempt, and Windows Store builds bury saves deeper still. Copy whichever side is newer with the game closed, then let sync reconcile. The output log beside the local saves is the support ticket companion.
