Where Does the CHIP App Store Data?
Historic CHIP app data under its ultimate package ID. Delisted in 2021, with no current app and website only.
Last updated
Tech portal CHIP retired its apps in 2021 and publishes no current mobile app. Historic Android installs keep data under the verified ultimate package with a matching iOS container. Private storage holds bookmarks and local data from that era.
Articles live on the mobile website now. The app receives no updates and reinstalls are impossible. Export bookmarks from inside the app while it still launches. Stored data stays under the same private dir until wiped. Wiping the old install drops local data for good, so export comes first.
