Where Does Graysky Store Posts and Cache?
Graysky accounts live on Bluesky servers while feeds, drafts, and media cache fill app storage.
Last updated
Graysky is a Bluesky client, so identity, posts, and follows live on your Bluesky account and server. The phone holds feeds cache, drafts, and downloaded media in app-private storage.
The cache is disposable. Reinstalling and logging back in restores the account completely, minus anything never posted. Save keeper photos to the roll deliberately; cached copies evaporate with the app.
Where Graysky stores this, by platform
Account on Bluesky (posts); app-private cache and drafts
Account, posts, and follows sync from Bluesky servers. The phone holds cache and drafts; log back in after reinstalling to restore everything.

Same account-first design. Media cache rebuilds with use, so clearing it is the safe first step when space runs low.
Frequently asked questions
Do I lose my posts if I reinstall?
Profile, follows, and posts return on login. Only unsent drafts and cache stay behind, so post or discard drafts before wiping.
