Where Does Mammoth Store Posts and Cache?
Mammoth accounts live on Mastodon servers while timelines, drafts, and media cache fill app storage.
Last updated
Mammoth is a Mastodon client, so identity, posts, and follows live on your Mastodon account and server. The phone holds timeline cache, drafts, and downloaded media in app-private storage.
The cache is disposable. Reinstalling and logging back in restores the account completely, minus anything never posted. Save keeper photos to the roll deliberately; cached copies evaporate with the app.

Frequently asked questions
Do I lose my posts if I reinstall?
Profile, follows, and posts return on login. Only unsent drafts and cache stay behind, so post or discard drafts before wiping.
