Last updated

GreenWithEnvy keeps fan curves and overclock profiles in its config home on Linux. Settings apply per GPU on launch.

Copying profiles works between identical cards only. Coolbits must stay enabled in Xorg for clocks to stick. Exact filenames may vary by release.

Where GreenWithEnvy stores this, by platform

Linux
~/.config/greenwithenvy/

Frequently asked questions

Where are GreenWithEnvy profiles?

Inside the config dir above as profile files. Export from the GUI before distro hopping. Import on the new install with the same GPU model.

Clocks reset on reboot. Why?

Coolbits lost its Xorg option or the autostart entry vanished. Reapply coolbits, then reenable apply on login. Profiles themselves stay put.
