Hellblade II uses the standard Unreal layout on PC. Steam copies write into Local AppData, in a Hellblade2 folder, with saves one level under Saved. The progress file is small, only a few kilobytes, and Steam Cloud mirrors it when enabled.
Microsoft Store and Game Pass copies are the exception. Those live in the packaged app path under Local Packages, in a wgs folder with coded names. Do not mix the two paths. A Steam backup will not load from the Store location.
