Guerrilla's Decima engine on PC writes saves, settings, and logs into Documents rather than AppData. The path is short and every storefront build agrees on it, which is rare enough to appreciate.
OneDrive ruins the simplicity on many machines. When Documents backup is on, saves land in the OneDrive copy while players stare at the local folder. Permission errors on launch usually trace to the same cause: the game cannot write where Documents now points.
