Where Are JDM: Japanese Drift Master Save Files Located?
The JDM save folder on PC, with progress and settings together under Local AppData in Unreal layout.
Last updated
JDM keeps saves in the familiar Unreal spot: a short JDM folder in Local AppData with Saved and SaveGames below. The path is refreshingly literal after games that hide behind codenames.
One quirk is worth knowing. The usual GameUserSettings.ini exists but the game ignores it, because settings ride along inside the save file itself. Back up SaveGames and you keep graphics, bindings, and progress in one move.
Where JDM: Japanese Drift Master stores this, by platform
%LOCALAPPDATA%\JDM\Saved\SaveGames
Local AppData in standard Unreal layout. Settings travel inside the save data rather than GameUserSettings.ini, so the SaveGames folder alone is a complete backup.
Frequently asked questions
I edited GameUserSettings.ini and nothing changed. Why?
JDM stores settings inside its save file and ignores that ini. Change options in game, then back up the SaveGames folder to preserve them.
Does JDM support Steam Cloud?
Cloud support arrived in a post-launch patch, but the local SaveGames folder stays authoritative. Keep a manual copy before long drift sessions anyway.
