Joyn profiles and watch state live in the account. The free tier and PLUS share the same model: server-side lists with a local sandbox for session, cache, and downloads. Live channels need no storage at all.
Device moves are login affairs. Profiles reappear complete with progress. Only downloads demand attention, since rights bind them to the device that fetched them.
