Where Does Jubler Store Settings?

Jubler keeps preferences in the Java Preferences store per OS, with subtitle files wherever you save them.

Last updated

Jubler is a Java app, so its preferences live in the Java Preferences backing store rather than an INI file: registry on Windows, plist XML on Mac, XML files on Linux.

Subtitle files themselves stay wherever you save them, fully independent of settings. Resetting preferences never touches a single subtitle.

Where Jubler stores this, by platform

Windows
HKCU\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\com\pandora\knoll

Java Preferences registry branch for Jubler options. Subtitle files remain wherever you saved them. Delete the branch to reset preferences.

Linux
~/.java/.userPrefs/com/pandora/knoll

XML backing files for the same preferences. Same split: settings here, subtitles wherever saved.

macOS
~/Library/Preferences/com.pandora.knoll.plist

Mac plist backing for Jubler preferences. Remove it with Jubler closed to restore defaults.
