Where Does Veed Store Projects and Exports?
Veed projects live in the cloud studio with exports downloaded as video files for archives.
Last updated
Veed is a browser-first video studio, so projects, subtitles, and brand kits live in your account rather than on any device. The editor is a window onto that cloud workspace.
The portable copy is the exported video file, downloaded deliberately per project. Anything still only a project has no offline form. Export finished work, keep the project for re-edits, and the archive question answers itself.
Where Veed stores this, by platform
Account cloud (projects); downloaded exports
Projects and subtitles sync from the account. Download exported videos for archives; browsers hold cache only.
Account cloud (projects); downloaded exports
Same cloud-first design on Mac. Keep exported videos outside the downloads folder if work matters long term.
Frequently asked questions
How do I archive a finished video?
Export the video first. The project stays editable online, but the downloaded file is the copy that survives account changes.
