Where Does the KKH App Store Data?
Meine KKH keeps mailbox and services in private storage, with session restored after login. An older KKH package is deprecated.
Last updated
Kaufmännische Krankenkasse moved to Meine KKH under a new package. Older installs may still show the deprecated ID. Private storage holds session plus mailbox cache in either case. Letters and services sync from servers after login, so local files hold cached PDFs rather than the record itself. That split decides what survives a wipe.
iOS adds a per install GUID with App Store ID 6737333371 for the current build. Export documents as PDF before wiping. Folder copies miss the encrypted session and never transfer login. Clearing storage while the app runs signs you out. Sign back in on the new phone and check the mailbox for letters.
Where KKH stores this, by platform
/data/data/de.kkh.meinekkh

Frequently asked questions
Which KKH package do I have?
Use de.kkh.meinekkh, the current Meine KKH build. The legacy de.kkh.app package is deprecated and may linger on old phones. New installs get Meine KKH only.
Do KKH documents survive reinstall?
No. Letters and services sync from KKH servers after login. Local data holds session and cached PDFs. Re authenticate on the new phone, then check the mailbox for documents. Private folder copies do not carry the session.
