Where Does Last War: Survival Store Your Progress?

Last War keeps base, heroes and alliances on FirstFun servers. The phone only holds cached assets and the login that proves who you are.

Last updated

Last War mixes tower defense runs with a base builder, and none of the parts that matter live on the phone. Base level, heroes, gear, troops, and the alliance map are server data at FirstFun, keyed to the account you linked: Google, Apple, Facebook, or a FirstFun account registered inside the game.

The advice the game gives in its first week is also the truest: bind an account before spending anything. Guest commanders cannot be recovered, and support has no way to find a base that never had a login attached. A bound base walks to a new phone in a couple of minutes, which is more than the local folder can do.

Where Last War: Survival Game stores this, by platform

Android
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.fun.lastwar.gp

Cached art, battle logs, downloaded event resources, and sign-in state. Hidden from file managers on Android 11 and newer. Deleting it signs you out and costs a re-download, never the base.

iOS
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<guid>/Documents

Per-install container with a new GUID on every reinstall, not reachable without a jailbreak. Full device backups copy it, though the account login is the real storage for a base.

Frequently asked questions

How do I bind my Last War account so I do not lose the base?

Open the settings menu in the game and link Google, Apple, or Facebook, or register a FirstFun account with your email. Do it before spending money. Once linked, the base is recoverable on any device with that login.

Can I transfer my Last War base to another server?

No. A commander belongs to one server and there is no migration system. If your alliance scattered to new servers during a season reset, the base stays behind with everything in it, so the choice is social, not technical.

Does clearing Last War's app data delete my troops?

No. That folder is resources and login state. Clearing it logs you out and forces a fresh download of game data, and the base is waiting on the servers the moment you sign back in.
