Where Are Lethal Company Save Files Located?

Where Lethal Company keeps its three save slots on Windows and under Proton, and how to move them to a new PC.

Last updated

Lethal Company autosaves into a ZeekerssRBLX folder under AppData\LocalLow, the usual Unity spot. There are no manual save buttons: three save slots map to data files in that folder (LCSaveFile1, LCSaveFile2 and so on), plus a shared config. Copying the folder copies every slot at once.

Modded and vanilla saves share the same files, which surprises people after uninstalling a modpack. A quota or moon state that looks broken is usually a leftover modded value in the slot file. Back the folder up before adding mods, so you can roll back cleanly.

Where Lethal Company stores this, by platform

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company

Paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company into Explorer. Copy the entire folder with the game closed to back up all three slots plus settings.

Linux
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1966720/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/ZeekerssRBLX/Lethal Company

Proton path for app ID 1966720. Steam Deck users should check here in Desktop mode with hidden files shown. The Steam root varies by install, so search under compatdata/1966720 if needed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reset just one of the three save slots?

They are separate data files in the same folder, one per slot. Delete the file matching the slot you want to restart, or rename it away as a backup first. The game recreates a fresh slot file on next launch.

How do I move my Lethal Company saves to another computer?

Copy the whole Lethal Company folder to the same path on the new machine. If the folder does not exist there yet, run the game once to the main menu so it generates, then overwrite with your copy.
