Meitu edits land in the gallery as new files next to the originals. That part behaves like any camera app and needs no further thought.
Everything unfinished stays inside Meitu: drafts, downloaded stickers, and effect packs in app-private storage. Those extras re-download on reinstall, but drafts do not come back. Save the edit, even as a private draft export, before wiping the app.
