Where Does SnapEdit Save Edited Photos?
SnapEdit saves finished edits to the gallery while originals and project state stay split between app and roll.
Last updated
SnapEdit edits land in the gallery as new files beside the originals. Object removal, enhancement, and background work all resolve to a plain exported image.
Project state stays inside the app and does not survive reinstalls. The gallery is therefore the archive and the app is the workbench. Export the version you like, confirm it sits in the roll, then clear the app without a second thought.
Where SnapEdit stores this, by platform
Gallery / DCIM (saved edits)
Finished edits save here as new files. Project state lives in app-private storage; confirm each keeper in the gallery before clearing data.
Photos app (saved edits)
Same behavior: exports to Photos, projects in-app only. Reinstalling loses unexported work but never gallery files.
Frequently asked questions
Do I lose my edits if I reinstall?
The exported edit in the gallery is safe. Project state and unexported tweaks die with the app, so export each keeper before wiping.
