MOC is a console player with small dotfiles in home. Keybindings, theme, output plugin and start directory live there. The server process caches tags separately in memory and on disk.
That tiny footprint makes moves one copy. Music folders stay outside the dotfiles by design. A fresh machine needs only the config plus the same media roots.
