Where Is the mpv Config File?
mpv reads options, key bindings and scripts from a small config directory that follows each OS convention.

mpv has no preferences window worth the name. Playback defaults live in mpv.conf, key bindings in input.conf, and automation in a scripts folder, all inside one directory.
Option syntax is one per line, profile sections included. Copying that directory to another machine reproduces your whole setup, shaders and bindings included. Portable Windows builds read a portable_config folder beside the exe instead, same files inside.
Where mpv stores this, by platform
%APPDATA%\mpv\mpv.conf
mpv.conf and input.conf live here with a scripts subfolder. Portable builds use portable_config beside the exe instead of this path.

Same three items as Windows. The watch_later folder appears here too once resume playback kicks in.
