Nidhogg keeps a small AppData folder on Windows with prefs.txt and misc.ini beside progress. There is no campaign to lose, mainly unlocks and settings.
Mac builds exist but store paths were never documented as cleanly, so this post covers Windows plus Linux Proton. Steam Cloud syncs most installs. Copy with the game closed.

prefs.txt and misc.ini plus save state. Copy the whole folder for backup. Tournament and versus stats restore with it.
