Where Does Pachli Store Accounts?

Pachli keeps Mastodon login sessions in private Android storage under its own ID, forked from Tusky.

Last updated

Pachli forked from Tusky with its own short package ID. Sessions, drafts and media cache sit in private storage. Both clients can live side by side. Timelines and posts stay on instances. The local path holds login state plus filters and prefs.

The Tusky roots show in shared UI patterns, not shared files. Local data is session plus settings, so relogin is the migration. Export filters before wiping. Do not copy one profile into the other dir. Clearing the folder while the app runs ends the session.

Where Pachli stores this, by platform

Android
/data/data/app.pachli

Private sessions and cache for the verified Pachli package. Tusky keeps a separate dir; the two do not share profiles.
