Where Does Pixel Studio Save Creations?
Pixel Studio saves generated stickers and images to the gallery and Google Photos. Project drafts and styles live in the app private storage.
Last updated
Pixel Studio generates on-device and saves like a camera. Each finished sticker or scene exports to the gallery as a normal image file, then rides Google Photos backup with everything else. That makes the gallery the durable archive.
Drafts are the fragile half. Prompts, in-progress edits, and style picks live in the app private storage until exported. The app needs a Pixel 9 or newer with the model downloads complete, so a fresh phone regenerates slowly on first run. Save early, save finished, and treat drafts as disposable.

Finished images in the gallery; drafts in private storage. Exact draft folder names may vary by version. Back up Photos and export drafts before moving phones.
Frequently asked questions
Where did my generated image go?
Finished creations save to the camera gallery and sync with Google Photos like any image. Share sheets and stickers pull from there. If a creation seems missing, check the gallery Recents before the app drafts; the export usually succeeded.
Do Pixel Studio projects transfer phones?
Yes through Photos backup for finished pieces. In-progress drafts and style presets stay per device in app storage. Export or save anything half-finished before switching phones, since drafts do not follow the account.
