Project Hospital keeps hospitals in a maps folder under LocalLow. The tree reads Oxymoron Games/Project Hospital/maps, with one zip per hospital inside. The developers themselves quote that path in the bug-report template, which settles conflicting forum guesses.
Settings live apart in the Windows registry rather than a file. Steam Cloud mirrors the maps tree, so the userdata copy under app ID 868360 is the cloud reflection rather than the live folder. macOS and native Linux builds use their Unity config homes with the same interior.
