Where Are Rainbow Six Siege Save Files Located?

Rainbow Six Siege saves and settings on PC, with different folder numbers per store build.

Last updated

Rainbow Six Siege splits saves from settings. Profiles and bindings live in the Ubisoft Connect savegames tree under a per store number (635 for Connect and Epic, 1843 for Steam, AppID 359550), while graphics options sit in Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\[ID]\GameSettings.ini.

Ubisoft's own fix for failed to load player profile is backing up the numbered folder, deleting it, and rebuilding with cloud sync off before re-enabling and picking local files. Even Steam copies need Connect running, so close both before restoring backups or the cloud copy overwrites them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix Siege failing to load my player profile?

Back up the numbered savegames folder, delete it, launch with cloud sync off to build a fresh profile, then re-enable sync and pick local files. Skipping the Cloud off step lets the corrupt copy win again.

Do Steam and Ubisoft Connect share Siege saves?

Same parent tree, different numbers: 1843 for Steam, 635 for Connect and Epic. Each build reads only its own number, so back up the one matching where you play.
