Where Does Reolink Store Recordings and Snapshots?
Where the Reolink app keeps recordings and snapshots on phones, plus microSD and NVR camera storage roles.
Last updated
Reolink spreads video across three places. The camera writes to its microSD card when fitted. An NVR or Home Hub writes to its own drive when bound. The phone app saves only what you manually record or snapshot during live view and playback.
Phone saves land in the gallery or Files, often under a Reolink folder in shared storage on Android. App settings and device list sync to your Reolink account when signed in. If playback shows gaps, check the card status in camera settings first. Failed cards cause most missing footage reports.
Where Reolink stores this, by platform
/sdcard/Reolink
Manual clips and snapshots land here or in the gallery. Continuous video stays on the camera microSD, NVR drive, or FTP target. Check card status when playback gaps appear.
Photos/Reolink (manual saves, plus camera card)
Manual saves go to Photos or Files through sharing. Device list follows your Reolink account. Continuous recording lives on the camera card or NVR, not in phone storage.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my Reolink camera recordings?
In the camera: microSD card, NVR hard drive, or FTP target hold the continuous record. In the app: phone album holds manual snapshots and clips you saved. For evidence, download from playback to the phone, then copy to a PC. The card alone is not a backup.
